This year's Annual General Meeting of Winkler AG took place on Friday, July 16, 2021. 96.9% of the share capital was represented. As in the previous year, the actions of the Management Board and Supervisory Board were unanimously approved.back
ATEX recertification has been completed successfully. On May 17-18, 2021, TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH carried out an external audit at Winkler. This year's repeat audit was all about the ISO 9001:2015 and the Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX). An intensive and extensive preparation was required due to our broad ATEX product portfolio.
Winkler AG has been since 2006 a certified manufacturer for explosion-proof products.

Safety, functionality and durability - with this in mind, Winkler has completely re-engineered the well-proven PILZ® Classic-Line Laboratory Heaters.
With the new Protect-Line we have managed to implement, a flexible heating element in protection class I (protective earth) for temperatures up to 450 °C. This ensures an even more comprehensive personal protection in case conductive liquid enters the heating element due to overcooking or glass breakage.
The heating element, which is precisely handcrafted from glass silk, adapts exactly to the shape of the glass round-bottomed flask as usual and therefore ensures that the contents are heated safely, evenly and efficiently.
We are therefore very pleased to offer the PILZ® heating mantles that have been tried and tested for decades, with innovations from today for the requirements of tomorrow.back
This project started with an article written in collaboration with the company JUMO in 2016, which explained how the combination of JUMOs’ SIL products and Winkler AGs’ ATEX products works (click here to read the article).
The customer safety specifications included, in addition to ATEX requirements, also SIL3.
We then implemented all these to manufacture the heating jacket utilizing three EX-e- Pt100 3 wire sensors from JUMO and the appropriate Safety temperature limiter JUMO safetyM STB/STW.
With this ATEX/SIL option we are able to offer you, our customer, an extensive portfolio for the hazardous area.
As expected, interest in this first shareholders’ meeting on Thursday 2nd July was especially high. The 30 shareholders attending this year’s event represented some 99.38 percent of Winkler AG’s capital stock.

Our ATEX heating jackets are designed to suit the individual requirements and the different setups of our customers. To ensure perfect fit of our jackets we offer the awesome feature of 3D model printing if the original object cannot be provided.

We also produce very large heating jackets for tanks and containers. The one shown in the picture is over 2 m long and has a diameter of almost 1 m. The system is divided into 2 heating circuits with 2,000 W per heating zone and 2 Pt100 (for controller/limiter operation). In combination with our temperature controllers a safe and precise operation is guaranteed. The L-300 (AC) series, which has already been successful for many years, will have a brother on the DC side for use at 12 - 48 VDC. A likewise fully electronic, wear-free switching element provides with up to 20 A for a permanently safe control of the heating. A user-friendly "plug & play" installation is made possible by the permanently self-optimizing Fast Adaptive Tuning (FAT) control algorithm. Thanks to IP67, the temperature controller designed for the connection cable is also suitable for rugged outdoor use - all this at an overall attractive price.
