Winkler Drum Heaters and Container Heaters
Applications
Drum heaters and container heaters are used to heat up liquids in drums and IBC containers. Thereby the viscosity can be reduced to allow for easy pumping and crystallisation can be avoided.
Structure
Winkler drum heaters and container heaters are flexible heating mats, that are intalled directly on the container to be heated. Thus they allow a very efficient and space-saving heating of drums and IBC containers directly on site. The regular spacing of heating cable and the integrated control avoid overheating of the container and ist contents. The robust design and high quality materials and components ensure a safe and reliable operation.

WFXX1004 Florett Sensor for Measuring the Temperature of the Medium
Application
- The floret sensor is suitable for all types and makes of 220 l drums.
- The Pt100 sensor in the tip of the sensor easily connects to the WRW-200 controller-limiter combination to provide point-precise temperature measurement.
- The Pt100 sensor (2 conductors) switches the drum heater off after reaching the desired medium temperature and protects the medium against overheating and thermal damage.

Applications
For quickly heating and melting up to 120°C.

- Outer jacket consisting of silicon-coated glass fibre mat -> high mechanical resistance,smooth surface.
Moisture-protected and chemical-resistant surface (washable). No thermal insulation. - Fastening via hooks and tension springs.
- Heating via double insulated heat conductors.
