Winkler Industrial Heating Mantles
are employed in the pharmaceutical, chemical and metal recycling industry in order to support chemical and biological reactions or distillation processes. The heat input is ensured by a heat conductor which is crocheted into the carrier material.
The basic design of this heating mantle series corresponds to the PILZ laboratory heating mantles. However, the industrial mantles are mechanically reinforced because of the flask sizes. The mounting fixture includes four sturdy eyebolts, loosely connected to a support ring.
The safety heating mantle is equipped with an additional temperature sensor (300 °C) per heating zone. There are suitable control devices available for both versions.
Advantages
- Hand-made products
- Even heat distribution up to a glass flask volume of 200 litres
- Built-in temperature sensor
- 3 to 5 heating zones (depending on size)
- Excellent workmanship combined with high-quality materials to guarantee a long service life

| Model WHIS Safety Heating Mantle |
Tmax = 300°C |
Description
- Outer jacket made of PTFE or aluminium coated glass fabric (as desired)
- Hand crocheted heating unit made of glass silk
- 3 to 5 heating zones
- Suitable for flasks from 10 l up to 200 l
- Combined with a Winkler WRTI72 controller
for temperature control to a maximum of 300 °C
- Protects the glass flasks against stress. In the event of excessive stress
there is a danger of glass fl ask breakage.
Device features
- Terminal box
- Connecting cable with 10-pole industrial plug (2.0 m)
- cable with sensor plug (2.0 m)
- one temperature sensor per heating zone
- Standard: Thermo element Type K (NiCr-Ni) Option: Thermo element Type J (Fe-CuNi)
Options: Thermocouple Type K (NiCr-Ni), thermocouple Type J (Fe-CuNi), RTD Pt 100
